Beautiful Distractions: A Personal Blog Series

As I sit here on the cusp of my 41st birthday, reflecting on the past year and all that has happened, I can't help but feel grateful. Grateful for the ups and downs, the highs and lows, the joys and sorrows – all of it has contributed to the person I am today.

This past year has been a tough one for so many of us, with the pandemic still upending our lives and causing so much disruption and uncertainty. And yet, despite all the challenges, I've found myself feeling more grounded, more present, and more grateful than ever before.

Perhaps it's the wisdom that comes with age, or perhaps it's the perspective that only comes from facing hardship. But whatever the reason, I've come to realize that life is not about accumulating material possessions or achieving certain milestones. It's about the connections we make, the love we give and receive, and the moments of joy and meaning that bring us alive.

As I embark on this new year, I'm filled with hope and determination to continue on this journey of self-discovery and growth. I'm ready to embrace the unknown, to take risks, to be vulnerable, and to live each day to the fullest.

So, with that, I want to introduce you to my new blog series called "Beautiful Distractions." This will be a personal exploration of the things that bring joy and meaning to my life, including my puppies, my husband, my family, and the behind-the-scenes craziness of daily life.

Through this series, I hope to share my experiences, insights, and reflections with you, and to offer a glimpse into the beautiful distractions that bring light and love into my world.

Whether it's the simple pleasures of spending time with loved ones, the challenges of balancing work and family, or the moments of hilarity and absurdity that make life worth living, I hope to capture the essence of what it means to be human and to find joy in the journey.

Follow along and join me on this journey of self-discovery and appreciation for the beautiful distractions that make life worth living. (I'll be bringing you all a new post every other week!)
