Want to tour the shed shed and backyard bar?  Check out the video tour and photos below. This project began with an idea and an empty backyard. We found some wood pallets leftover from a warehouse, measuring twelve feet long - which was perfect! We started with building a 9x14 shed shed using old windows and doors that we picked up at Habitat ReStore, along with some materials from around the house (paint, stain) and I used as my wood shop. Around two years later the small shed shed morphed into something much bigger; an additional 12x24 space was added-on. The additional square footage was transformed into a backyard bar with a pool table, dart board, TV, LED lights and sound system. I turned an old cabinet that used to be in a hardware store into the bar that we installed inside. This year, we expanded our bar with large double doors that open up to a paver patio area and swimming pool, bringing the outside in!
