the Farmhouse
Five years ago, my husband and I purchased our first home together. It was tucked away down a small gravel road, nestled among pine trees in the heart of town. Our home became a sanctuary for us, a place of peace and tranquility away from the chaos of the outside world. We shared our farmhouse with our two cats, Isla and Mr. Louis, who were constantly at odds but actually deeply in love; our fur babies, a golden retriever named Fish and a dachshund mix named Boone; and our sassy, strong-willed teenage daughter.
After many wonderful years in our old home, we made the decision to sell and embark on a brand new adventure. It was a bittersweet goodbye to
familiar walls and well-loved rooms, but the dream of building something entirely our own was calling upon us.
