Five years ago, my husband and I purchased our first home together. It's tucked away down a small gravel road, nestled among pine trees in the heart of town. Our home has become a sanctuary for us, a place of peace and tranquility away from the chaos of the outside world. We share our farmhouse with our two cats, Isla and Mr. Louis, who are constantly at odds but actually deeply in love; our fur babies, a golden retriever named Fish and a dachshund mix named Boone; and our sassy, strong-willed teenage daughter, Madi, who is currently a senior in high school. Our home is full of love and life, and we're grateful to have found such a special place to call our own.
